Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Control Center and other games published by AstroVault Studios that link to these Terms (collectively, the “Games”). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using a Game, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You may use the Games only if you are legally permitted to do so. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf.
2. License to Use the Games
AstroVault Studios grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Games for lawful, non-commercial entertainment purposes, subject to these Terms and the rules of the app store through which you obtained the Game.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Copy, sell, rent, sublicense, distribute, or commercially exploit the Games except as permitted by law;
- Reverse engineer, modify, bypass, disrupt, or interfere with the Games or their security features;
- Use cheats, automation, modified software, exploits, or unauthorized tools to manipulate gameplay, advertisements, rewards, purchases, scores, or progression;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or information connected to the Games;
- Use the Games in a way that violates law or infringes another person’s rights.
4. Virtual Items and Game Progress
The Games may include virtual currency, boosts, achievements, scores, rewards, upgrades, or other virtual items. These features have no real-world monetary value, are not property, and cannot be exchanged for cash unless AstroVault Studios expressly states otherwise. Game balance, rewards, availability, and progression requirements may change through updates.
Game progress may be stored locally on your device. Progress can be lost if you reset the Game, clear app data, change devices, uninstall the Game, experience device failure, or if a backup does not restore correctly. AstroVault Studios does not guarantee recovery of locally stored progress.
5. Advertisements
The Games may display third-party advertisements. Some optional advertisements may provide an in-game reward after successful completion. Advertising availability, reward eligibility, and delivery may depend on network connectivity and third-party services. We do not guarantee that an advertisement will always be available.
6. In-App Purchases
The Games may offer optional purchases, such as an ad-free feature. Purchases are processed by the applicable app store and are subject to that store’s terms, billing rules, refund policies, and account requirements. Except where required by law or app-store policy, purchases are non-refundable. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and app-store account.
7. Intellectual Property
The Games, including their software, artwork, graphics, sounds, characters, names, logos, designs, text, and gameplay elements, are owned by or licensed to AstroVault Studios and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of any intellectual property to you.
8. Updates, Availability, and Changes
We may update, modify, suspend, remove, or discontinue any part of a Game at any time. Updates may change features, compatibility, virtual items, advertisements, rewards, or gameplay. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or continued support for every device or operating-system version.
9. Third-Party Services
The Games may rely on third-party services, including app stores, advertising providers, operating systems, and network services. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies. AstroVault Studios is not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Games are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Games will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, compatible with every device, or that progress will never be lost.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AstroVault Studios and its owner, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, progress, profits, goodwill, or use arising from or related to the Games. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability will be limited to the amount you paid for the applicable Game or in-app purchase during the twelve months before the claim, or ten U.S. dollars if you paid nothing, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
12. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, or expenses arising from your unlawful misuse of the Games or material violation of these Terms.
13. Termination
Your permission to use a Game ends automatically if you materially violate these Terms. Sections that by their nature should continue after termination will remain effective.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where the consumer-protection laws of your location require otherwise.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
